Owner Karl Mueller was one of the first electric dog fence dealers in the country "Advanced" certified by the International Association of Canine Professionals. Most pet fence companies talk about humane training, but modern training requires tickle level shock levels in the technology and as wide a range of adjustments as there are personalities.
Karl took the cutting edge, first of it's kind International Certification test in 2005, earning advanced certification in early 2006. Asked why he invested the time and effort to gain this cerfication after over a decade in the electric pet containment industry, Karl explained

It's not to say that the old approaches do not work, but most fence experts NOW FINALLY agree that once you've trained with low levels first, that is the only approach you will want to apply.
This revolutionary approach rewards your pet for retreating from the boundary and uses very low level stimulation for introduction. Unlike other containment training approaches, highershock settings are not used until your pet has been fully taught the boundary, and even then may not be necessary.
